Yeah, we get that a lot. Technically, it was never intended to be a school. This place was built to be one of the finest recording facilities in the world, and the fact that over 100 Gold and Platinum records were made here proves that it was.
Now, these expertly designed studios are your classrooms. The old-school analog and high-tech digital consoles are your desks. The vintage mics, amps, compressors and equalizers, and the HD audio and Pro-Tools labs are your pens and paper.
And that’s the point. How do you get real-world training in a non-real-world environment? We’re not sure. All we know is that this wasn’t a warehouse retrofit to look like studios. These are real studios being used for real-world arts training.
